Southern California Expansion Adds Los Angeles and San Diego Offices

FBFK Law is expanding its California presence with the launch of new offices in Los Angeles and San Diego, continuing the firm’s strategic growth on the West Coast. The expansion follows the firm’s 2024 merger with Orange County–based Stephens Friedland LLP and reflects increasing client demand across Southern California. Litigation partner Patricia Cymerman will lead the Los Angeles office, while trusts and estates attorneys Danielle C. Humphries and Kyle Overs will support the firm’s new San Diego presence. Estate planning attorney Blaine J. Burch is also joining the firm’s Orange County office.

According to California Managing Partner Todd Friedland, the expansion allows the firm to serve clients throughout the region better while building a long-term foundation in two of California’s largest legal markets. Since entering California, the Orange County office has grown rapidly, from three attorneys to about 20, prompting a move to a larger space in Irvine. With new teams forming in Los Angeles and San Diego and continued growth in Orange County, the firm expects its California footprint to expand further in the coming years.
