FBFK Law Expands with New Health Care Practice

Expanding the Health Care Practice in Houston

Ferguson Braswell Fraser Kubasta, a Texas-founded midsize business law firm, has expanded its capabilities with the launch of a dedicated health care practice and the addition of two new shareholders in Houston. Veteran health law attorneys Megan Neel and Cody Dumas joined the firm from their boutique practice, bringing extensive experience in regulatory compliance, corporate structuring, and health care transactions. The new practice is designed to support clients operating at the intersection of compliance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory oversight within the rapidly evolving health care industry.

According to CEO Kyle Ferguson, the launch represents a strategic platform build rather than a niche expansion, reflecting the firm’s focus on advising growth-oriented businesses in complex, highly regulated sectors. Neel and Dumas will help guide health care companies, physician groups, and private equity investors on matters including governance, compliance, capital structuring, and transactional strategy. The firm expects to grow the health law team in both Houston and Orange County, further strengthening its ability to serve clients across Texas and California.
