FBFK Law Launches Health Law Practice in Houston

We have officially launched FBFK’s Health Law Practice in our Houston office! As featured in Law360 Pulse, this expansion marks a deliberate investment in one of the most complex and fastest-growing sectors of the economy. With the addition of Megan Ball Neel, Cody Dumas, and Cindy Peters, we are bringing healthcare compliance, corporate transactions, capital strategy, and governance together under one integrated platform.

This expansion represents a deliberate platform build, strengthening FBFK Law’s ability to serve healthcare businesses operating at the intersection of private equity, venture capital, real estate, finance, and regulatory oversight. As CEO Kyle Ferguson shared, healthcare today requires seamless integration of corporate operations and transactions with healthcare compliance — and that is exactly what the firm is building.

Megan, who is board certified in health law, brings more than two decades of experience in healthcare compliance, including Stark Law and anti-kickback strategy, HIPAA and data governance, provider alignment, and healthcare ownership design. Cody advises healthcare clients on corporate architecture, governance, capital structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and risk strategy, drawing from his experience as a former chief legal officer.

Together, they enhance FBFK Law’s integrated corporate platform, enabling the firm to provide a comprehensive, high-impact service offering to healthcare operators, investors, and private equity sponsors.
