FBFK Law has welcomed Solomon L. Wisenberg as a Shareholder in its Houston office, further strengthening the firm’s white-collar defense and litigation capabilities. With more than four decades of experience, Wisenberg is widely known for his service as Deputy Independent Counsel in the Whitewater Lewinsky investigation, where he assisted with grand jury proceedings involving former President Bill Clinton. He joins FBFK Law after leading white collar practices at several national firms and will split his time between Houston and Washington, D.C., where he will maintain a satellite office.
A former Assistant United States Attorney in both North Carolina and Texas, Wisenberg has first chaired approximately 30 federal criminal jury trials and regularly represents individuals and businesses in high-stakes federal investigations nationwide. He is also a frequent legal commentator on constitutional and criminal law issues and the author of a leading textbook on securities fraud. According to Mark Zeidman, head of FBFK Law’s Houston office, Wisenberg brings “a calm, strategic approach to some of the most challenging situations our clients face,” expanding the firm’s reach and depth in complex white collar matters at both the regional and national levels.
