FBFK Law Welcomes Veteran Securities Attorney George Lee, Bolstering Capital Markets and Fund Formation Capabilities

DALLAS (May 2025) – FBFK Law is pleased to announce that George Lee, a veteran securities and capital markets attorney, has joined the firm as a Shareholder in its Plano office. Lee brings more than two decades of experience advising fund sponsors, investment managers, and family offices in complex private offerings, fund formations, and regulatory matters.
Formerly a partner at Carrington Coleman, Lee deepens FBFK’s bench in private equity, venture capital, energy, and real estate transactions-adding rare expertise in private fund structuring and compliance for registered investment advisers.

“I was drawn to FBFK’s business-first culture and strong reputation in the middle-market deal space,”
said Lee. “It’s a forward-thinking firm that delivers meaningful value at every stage of a transaction.”
A graduate of The University of Texas School of Law and Carleton College, Lee is widely regarded for his strategic counsel and steady leadership in high-stakes deal environments.
His arrival further strengthens FBFK’s rapidly growing corporate and M&A platform, which now includes over 20 professionals advising on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, technology transactions, tax planning, and corporate governance across Texas and California.
His arrival is part of a wave of Big Law talent joining FBFK, including Spencer Hamer (formerly of K&L Gates), a leading employment attorney expanding the firm’s reach in California, and Megan Clontz, a seasoned bankruptcy lawyer known for her expertise in business reorganizations, creditor rights, and small business restructurings under the SBRA.
