More than 100 Dallas-area attorneys and two dozen judges from State and Federal Courts in Dallas County gathered this past Tuesday, Oct. 18 for the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers’ (DAYL) 2022 Dinner with the Judiciary. The dinner, which was held at the Arts District Mansion, was the first time the event has been held since the pandemic. Along with dinner, attendees listened to a panel discussing ethical issues that arise in jury selection, specifically relating to the use of the Internet and social media. The panel consisted of the Honorable Amos Mazzant, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas; the Honorable Bonnie Goldstein, Fifth District Court of Appeals; and Emily McDonald, Bloom Consulting. Dave Wishnew, of Crawford, Wishnew & Lang, moderated the discussion. FBFK was a Platinum Sponsor of the event.
