Cindy Peters serves as Of Counsel in the firm’s Healthcare Law, Transactions & Regulatory practice. She advises healthcare providers, physician-owned entities, and healthcare platforms on transactional structuring, regulatory compliance, and strategic risk mitigation across the lifecycle of formation, growth, acquisition, and exit.

Ms. Peters counsels clients on healthcare acquisitions, ownership restructurings, and multi-entity arrangements, including MSO and PC/PLLC models. She integrates fraud and abuse analysis, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and Texas regulatory frameworks, into transactional strategy to ensure regulatory alignment in complex business arrangements.

She regularly advises physician practices, direct patient care models, specialty clinics, med spas, and post-acute providers on governance design, compensation structuring, delegation protocols, and scalable compliance infrastructure. Her work bridges business objectives with regulatory requirements, helping clients structure sustainable and defensible healthcare enterprises.

Drawing on more than twenty years of healthcare industry experience, including extensive work across acute care settings and senior leadership roles in post-acute care, Ms. Peters brings practical insight into healthcare transactions, complex contracting, reimbursement considerations, and regulatory risk exposure. This operational perspective strengthens her ability to serve as strategic counsel to healthcare providers, practice owners, and healthcare entities of all sizes, advising on mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and structuring, governance, contractual strategy, and ongoing regulatory compliance within a highly regulated industry.
