DALLAS, October 18, 2018 – FBFK is pleased to announce the election of Traci Clements, Labor and Employment Attorney, to the Board of Directors for The Five-Star Greater Irving- Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce.
The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce established nearly nine decades ago in 1932, was the first chamber in Texas statewide. Accredited in 2009, the chamber remains one of only 70 among the 7,000 chambers nationally to be named a Five Star Chamber by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The organization serves to connect thousands of local businesses and professionals through the values of “leadership excellence, promoting collaborative partnerships, uncompromising quality, and professional integrity.” Today the organization has over 1,900 members including 53 Fortune 500 companies and four Fortune 1000 companies with global headquarters in the Irving-Las Colinas area.
Traci Clements first joined the chamber in 2016 with the goals and intentions of offering insightful counsel and building strategic partnerships with local businesses. Mrs. Clements has been proactive with her involvement serving on the Small Business Services Committee. Through her work, she has delivered educational presentations for chamber investors, and has assisted local business owners with practical business and legal guidance to help them manage and grow their businesses.
When current leadership recommended her to serve on the Board, Mrs. Clements was enthusiastic about being able to expand her reach stating, “I am honored and humbled to be considered for the Board. It has been a very rewarding experience to serve the chamber investors for the last two years through the Small Business Services Committee. We have even more great services and workshops in the queue for 2019, and I am excited to continue expanding our reach and growth of this business community as a leader.” Traci will serve on the Board of the chamber for the next three years.
