Gerald (Gerry) Reihsen’s clients receive the services of an exacting and accomplished professional. He advances his clients’ interests with a blend of deep strategic business wisdom, global high-level legal prowess and entre into his world of business success. For his own account alone, through his several entrepreneurial enterprises, Gerry has generated in excess of ten billion dollars of investment fund assets under management, billions of dollars of public company formation and hundreds of millions of dollars of successful merger & acquisition transactions. His efforts for his clients have eclipsed these numbers by many times. Gerry’s practice and client base is broad though he is nationally recognized for his leading edge work in the Opportunity Zone incentive ecosystem and in the cryptocurrency and digital asset space, speaking and writing on these areas and advising clients across the world.

In addition to his service as outside counsel and his entrepreneurial efforts, Gerry serves on for profit and not for profit governance and advisory boards, which service has included as an independent director and audit committee chairman for Ashford (NYSE American: AINC), a leading provider of asset management and other services to companies within the hospitality industry, on the advisory committee of CA South, Nashville’s leading Opportunity Zone real estate developer and its most forward-thinking integrated real estate enterprise, and as a former chairman and current board member of Cristo Rey Dallas College Preparatory School.

All of his career accomplishments and wonderful business relationships aside, Gerry’s fondest accomplishments and greatest avocation are those arising from a four decade marriage that has produced three honorable and impressive young men, including his son Carson who excels as a corporate attorney at FBFK and, with Carson’s lovely and caring wife, has blessed the family with two grandchildren, a brilliant and beautiful (when considered from a completely objective viewpoint) grandson and granddaughter (with many more hoped for from all his sons).
