Kelly Kubasta and Richard Spencer named to Best Lawyers List

DALLAS, August 20, 2018 – Ferguson Braswell Fraser Kubasta, PC, a full-service business law firm, is pleased to announce that Kelly Kubasta and Richard Spencer have been named to the 25^th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America^©.

Mr. Kubasta, FBFK’s intellectual property practice group leader, has extensive litigation experience advising both plaintiffs and defendants in matters including infringement issues involving patents, trademarks/service marks, product trade dress, and copyrights, as well as breach of contract, unfair competition, trade secret, and antitrust issues.

During the past year, Mr. Kubasta helped Tinnus Enterprises and Zuru Ltd. win a patent infringement verdict in Texas federal court, resulting in an award of over $12 million.

Mr. Kubasta, based in our Plano office, was also recently selected to the 2018 Texas Super Lawyers list, the eighth time he has been so honored. He has also been selected to D Magazine’s “Best Lawyers” list in Dallas for Intellectual Property six times since 2011.

Mr. Spencer, based in our Houston office, specializes in real estate law. He is board certified in Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law and has represented a wide range of businesses and individuals in a variety of complex real estate matters. Mr. Spencer was also elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Texas Bar College and has been voted to the Super Lawyers list every year since 2003.
