Christopher Shenfield

Christopher (“Chris”) Shenfield is a civil litigation and trial lawyer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and the San Mateo County Bar Association.

With over 23 years’ experience handling difficult cases, Chris has a track record of winning litigation against big insurance companies acting in bad faith, negligent public and private corporations, business entities breaching contractual obligations, negligent municipal, county and state governments, overreaching state and federal regulatory agencies, and business entities and persons responsible for personal injury, fraud, wrongful death and commercial theft.   Chris has represented individuals and small businesses in numerous jury trials and handled plaintiffs’ cases throughout Northern California in both state and federal courts. Chris brings passion and perseverance to every case he takes on.  Chris prepares each case for trial from day one. Regardless of whether he recommends settlement or that the case go to trial, Chris always acts in his clients’ best interests.

Chris received his J.D. magna cum laude from Tulane Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif.  Chris has been admitted to practice in the state courts in California, Louisiana and Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern District of California, Central District of California, Eastern District of Louisiana, and Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as the United State Courts of Appeal for the Third Circuit, Fifth Circuit and Ninth Circuit.

Dedicated to serving consumers, investors and small businesses, Chris is an active member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo, Latino Professional Services, and San Mateo Professional Alliance. Chris also maintains a blog dedicated to issues impacting victims, consumers, small businesses, those interested in consumer rights, personal injury attorneys, civil litigation attorneys, and those in the legal community.
