Danise A. McMahon

Danise McMahon has broad litigation experience in state and federal courts, including trials, arbitration, administrative hearings and mediation. Danise strives to find business solutions that avoid disputes whenever possible, but deals with them efficiently and aggressively when necessary. Her litigation practice focuses on complex commercial and employment litigation in state and federal courts in Texas and throughout the country.

Danise handles cases on a wide variety of business and employment issues involving:

  • Theft of trade secrets and confidential information
  • Breach of contract, including breach of noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements and other post-employment covenants
  • Defending discrimination and harassment claims, both administratively and in court
  • Defending claims of overtime violations
  • Fraud

  • Tortious interference with contracts and business relations
  • Breach of fiduciary duty
  • Unfair competition
  • Business divorces
  • False Claims Act defense
  • Appeals of business disputes

Danise earned her J.D. from the Emory University School of Law, where she was the managing editor of Emory International Law Review as well as a Dean’s Teaching Fellow. She is admitted to practice in Texas, Oklahoma and Georgia.
