Blaine J. Burch brings more than a decade of specialized experience in estate planning, tax strategy, and business succession to his practice. After serving as the founder and managing partner of BHR Law Group in Orange County, Blaine is now joining FBFK, where he continues his commitment to providing thoughtful, strategic counsel to business owners, professionals, and philanthropists navigating complex income and estate tax matters.

Blaine’s legal career is grounded in a broad base of experience earned at several of Orange County’s top estate planning firms. He advises clients with the insight of both an attorney and an entrepreneur, drawing on years of personal business ownership and hands-on operational leadership. Blaine received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management, with an emphasis in Marketing, from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. Early in his career, he served as the marketing director of a nationwide agri-business, where he led product development and national marketing campaigns for brands such as Nestlé, Nabisco, and Conagra Foods.

Following his Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law (now the Antonin Scalia Law School) in Arlington, Virginia, Blaine joined Mundell, Odlum & Haws, LLP, a premier boutique corporate litigation firm in San Bernardino. During this time, he also founded a successful records management company that provided document storage and compliance services for cities, counties, and local businesses.

Blaine’s passion for tax and generational planning led him to open his own estate and business planning practice in 2010, where he worked closely with business owners and entrepreneurs to protect their companies and prepare for the next generation. He later expanded his expertise at Matsen, Voorhees, Mintz, LLP, focusing on asset protection, corporate formation, and compliance, and subsequently at Brown & Streza, LLP, where he helped design advanced tax and asset protection strategies for high-net-worth families.

Blaine is deeply committed to his community and professional service. He is an active member of the UCI Planned Giving Professional Advisory Council and the Orange County Council of the Boy Scouts of America. An Eagle Scout, Blaine remains closely involved in mentorship and youth leadership programs. He also serves as the Group Leader for the ProVisors Orange County Central chapter.

Blaine lives in Orange County with his wife and three daughters. He maintains an active lifestyle as a brown belt in jiu-jitsu and also enjoys playing soccer.
